Record high temperature

I've been told by a local resident that Leicester saw new record high temperatures only a couple of years ago. A quick Googling shows a news article from July of 2022 with record highs cited which exceed those that are within the Wiki article.

Coronavirus

Is section 2.5.3 on coronavirus needed? Except for the two named suburbs a similar paragraph could be included on almost all other UK towns and cities. I propose its removal. Any objections? Rupples (talk) 00:36, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It would be helpful if a narrative with reliable source could be included to support your claim "the lockdowns were worse in Leicester . . ." as that may be sufficient to justify keeping a paragraph on Covid.
