Semper eadem
[edit]The coat of arms image has SEMPER AEDEM underneath it, which is incorrect - it’s SEMPER EADEM. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.177.158.159 (talk) 18:25, 1 April 2022 (UTC)

Record high temperature
[edit]I've been told by a local resident that Leicester saw new record high temperatures only a couple of years ago. A quick Googling shows a news article from July of 2022 with record highs cited which exceed those that are within the Wiki article.

Coronavirus
[edit]Is section 2.5.3 on coronavirus needed? Except for the two named suburbs a similar paragraph could be included on almost all other UK towns and cities. I propose its removal. Any objections? Rupples (talk) 00:36, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- Fully agree. 10mmsocket (talk) 05:32, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- I disagree. The lockdowns were worse in Leicester for longer than most other places. However the paragraph can be altered as the lockdowns were 3 to four years ago now..— Preceding unsigned comment added by Spinney Hill (talk • contribs) 14:00, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- It would be helpful if a narrative with reliable source could be included to support your claim "the lockdowns were worse in Leicester . . ." as that may be sufficient to justify keeping a paragraph on Covid. What's written at present is largely generic. Rupples (talk) 17:35, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
