Heya; great idea with the Tube navigation boxes, but would it be possible to format them with the skin-format (change '{|' to '{| id="toc"')?
Thanks.

The skin-formatting will make them look like other boxes in the skin; slowly, we're (slowly) changing all the tables to use it, and it helps if people start new ones with it too :-)

I'm adding the colored borders to some of these, as you appear to have been doing too, as on Talk:London Underground. I've changed your align="center" lines to style="text-align: center;", as the aligns weren't working in Firefox (not sure why, as the code looked right). Could I also ask that you use the colors from the table on the London Underground article, please:
Bakerloo Line   #ae6017
Central Line   #f15b2e
Circle Line   #ffe02b
District Line   #00a166
East London Line   #fbae34
Hammersmith & City Line   #f491a8
Jubilee Line   #949699
Metropolitan Line   #91005a
Northern Line   black
Piccadilly Line   #094fa3
Victoria Line   #0a9cda
Waterloo & City Line   #88d0c4
Docklands Light Railway   #00BBB4
Thanks; and good work! :o) — OwenBlacker 20:05, Dec 5, 2004 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:GoldenNica CreativeCommons.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:35, 7 December 2022 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Mikegr! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 10 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Luc Courchesne - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 04:46, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Luc Courchesne requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
